Default Treo to BB

Please Login to Remove!

Just got a BB Curve. Any good advice on how to get my contacts, appointments and memos into my new BB. I used Palm Desktop to backup my Treo. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Use BB Desktop Manager. There is a chose for copying from one device to another.

Thanks for the quick response. I don't usually ask questions without reading first, but I am excited to get it going. Thanks again....

Thanks for the kind words!! I do still have an issue. When I select "Device Switch Wizard", then "Switch from another device to blackberry", Then the screen where I chose Palm or Windows Mobile is GREYED out. I cannot select either radio button. I have tried several times and no luck. Any suggestions?

Connect the Palm to the computer, then launch desktop manager.

That's how I did it. Connect Palm, connect BB, open desktop mgr. Every time I stall at the same spot. Without being able to choose one of the 2 radio buttons, the next button is greyed out and I can't continue. Thanks for your response, any other suggestions?

Yes I have the same problem migrating my Palm Treo to the 9530. Other suggestions are to use Outlook as a go between; hell, I can't get Outlook to work! Is there any other way I can migrate my Palm Treo into my BB?

Is it just the PIM stuff you want to transfer (calendar, contacts, tasks)? You can export everything from the Palm Desktop into a .cvs file on your computer, then import those .cvs files into Outlook, then choose to sync the BB with outlook. I use Outlook to sync my curve and it works great. I also switched from a Palm Treo 755 to a BB Curve a month ago, I am VERY happy.
