I carry mine in a holster most times. I don't want lint or other things from my pocket getting on my BlackBerry.

With. Sleep mode which helps with battery life and it helps keep dust and debris from getting under the trackball.

Carry it in the holster. As a previous poster mentioned, that keeps dirt and lint from clogging the contacts around the trackball and making it inoperable.

Oh, I don't know about that...

I always use a holster. Always. A dirty, nasty, lint filled trackball is definately not girly.

No holster here... I have had too many break with prior phones, and don't want to lose this phone.

I have the invisishield on the phone, and in a blakc silicone skin... keep it in a pocket all by itself...

So if you put the phone in the holster it automatically goes into sleep mode?

If there is a magnet in the holster. All OEM holsters have a magnet.

Also, this is how the device recognizes the in holster and out of holster profile settings.
