I recently installed the 4.5 OS for my Blackberry Curve 8310 (AT&T), and it took a couple or tries to get it running smoothly. Then a day or two later it goes haywire and starts send and opening things left and right, sometimes from me touching an odd assortment of things that shouldn't have anything to do with opening or sending text messages, I think it clicks on whatever the cursor is over from what I have seen. I have already called my provider to fix the internet and MMS problems, and finally did it myself, maybe I screwed it up, which I doubt... so if there is a simple solution I could do myself. Sometimes it even opens my setup wizard, drafts, and texting etc. by simply looking at it. Maybe I have become like that kid in Heroes who can talk to technology, but any help or advice would be very, very appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

I don't think this has anything to do with your upgrade. The symptoms that you describe are typically caused by exposure to moisture or liquid. Did the phone get wet or damp? They are especially sensitive in the trackball area as it's almost a direct path to the circuit board.
