I thought they had sent me a cd from Verizon, but I cant find it anywhere. Is it possible to use my BB's internet though my laptop? If so, where can I download the program?

Take a look here:
Using BlackBerry As Modem - BlackBerryFAQ

A lot of carriers charge an additional fee for this feature.

in your 8330 box from vzw there should be a CD with vz access manager, if you no longer have it you can go to vzam.net and get the software there.

No tetherberry is a non subscription software, this means that you only have to pay one time fee,and that's it,and once this is a after market software the big companies (sprint verizon att tmobile and probably even metro pcs that has the 8330 curve) don't see it as a tethering tool, and you don't have to let them know that you're using your berry as a modem,me myself use my blackberry 8320 for tethering my laptop, and I don't need this software once tmo don't charge for tethering, but my friend has a 8330 curve on verizon he uses tetherberry and he says is awesome, and no extra charges from verizon for tethering, anyway, give it a try, just in my personal opinion, don't use it,for business,I mean try not to go over the 5gb they recomend as a fair use

One more thing, tethering on edge is really slow but does the job,(tmobile and att pearl8100,8120,8220,curve 8300,8310,8320,8900,and the blackberry 8800,8820) about the bold I'm pretty sure is faster once is a 3g capable berry, the 8130,8330 and 8830 or cdma berrys are faster too once they support EV-DO,of course the storm is faster once is 3g EV-DO capable, and to be honest I don't know about older berrys, but specially for cdma carriers and 3g berrys this is the best way to tether your laptop, for gsm carriers I recomend the old school (at least on tmobile

I downloaded the Vzaccess link, and it work, but calling verizon they stated that it is a $15 dollar fee and you only can use up to 5k, then additional charges... I may look at getting the other stand along program. Thanks for all the help..

You can get the stand alone program and you are still required to have the thethering added to your account. It is against the TOS to tether without it and they can tell by how much you download. 5 gig is what is included with the plan before they start nailing you with overages fees.
