Question When dialling from address book the screen jumps to the call log screen w/o calling

Please Login to Remove!

I recently updated the OS on my Blackberry 8310 to OS v4.5.0.110 (platform 2.7.0.90) and have encountered a glitch in dialling from my address book. After selecting the individual I wish to call, I click on the green button to proceed. Should that individual have only one number stored, the call will go through. However, I have noticed that when the contact has more than one number for me to choose from, a list appears for a split second before it jumps to the call log screen. I then have to select the return button in order to get back to the list to select the desired number. I never had this issue with the older version. Is there anyone who can help me with this problem???

Sounds like it's an issue with that OS version or your BB. It's not an issue on my 8310with 4.5.0.77. It should definitely bring up the list of numbers for you to choose.

Have you checked in the thread for 4.5.0.110 for the 8310?

I would agree with takeshi. Removing the battery for 30 seconds whilst the device is powered on may be worth a try as well.

Have you tried a battery pull or reset?

I did a battery pull and that didn't work. I also checked the various threads and see nothing related to what I am experiencing. I could have missed one, not sure :(

I've got a new 8330m with the latest software, and it acts like you are expecting that your phone should. I'd try to back up your data and re-flash.
