Default Broken key on Curve 8310

Please Login to Remove!

Hey I searched, and found this thread but it was closed.

I bought a 8310 Curve off eBay with a broken "U" key, thinking I could fix it. But I can't figure it out. The key clicks, and the underlying circuit board looks good. All other keys and the trackball work perfectly. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I've tried:
  • New Keyboard
  • Cleaning it
  • Pressing really hard
And it is out of warranty. I also don't want to pay much to fix it.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks,

Patrick
