I'm new to the BB experience, so sorry if this question is a simple task… I want to add a message type of exception to the Profile Exception list. I’m using a Curve and the only type of exception I seem to be able to add is a “Custom Phone Tune”. Anyway to add other types???

What exactly do you mean by "add a message type" to the exceptions?

If I try to create a new exception, the only option I have to check on or off is the xxx8220;Custom Phone Tune:xxx8221;. I want to add an option to control my messages to a custom sound too. Example, I want to set my active profile to Quiet and have exceptions for incoming calls and SMS text messages to play a sound only from my wife and kids (which I have contacts for). Just need help figuring out how to do that and I thought that the exceptions would be the way to go about it. I just looking for a way to add the message functionality.
