I have the Curve 8310 and I've been learning some keyboard shortcuts.
Well I came upon this one by accident: when you are viewing your messages, press alt-v
It brings up "Voicemail Messages" - what is this for?

Its just one of the many shortcuts that are programmed into the OS when you're in certain apps,

You have
Alt+s for sms messages
Alt+o shows outgoing e-mails and phone calls
Alt+p shows your phone calls
Alt+m shows mms messages

Etc
