Default Spam on my BB

Please Login to Remove!

I have set my BB to receive all my business emails through Gmail. But there are still alot of spam getting through to my BB. My carrier is AT&T. Gmail filters work great for catching spam. My business email does not have spam filters. I have set up many filters everyday when new spam comes through to Gmail. But they just keep coming. Please stop the spam.

You will have to continue to filter it yourself. There's no filter between your email account and the BlackBerry other than the ones you set up. So you need to control this on the account side or in the BIS.

It's best practice to filter spam before it gets to BIS. If you can filter it before it reaches your mail server (I use MXLogic Defender but it's a service offered via my BES hosting provider) that's even better.

Using filters to stop spam is just an exercise in futility and frustration as you've seen.
