hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out my DNS settings, where can I find the DNS settings on my phone.

Do you mean APN settings?

hmmm, now i'm confused!

I'm trying to use ebuddy on my phone, but it wont connect. It says that my internet settings must be activated for java applications. on the ebuddy site I found this info to make things work

T-mobile
internet2.voicestream.com
DNS1 216.155.175.105
DNS2 216.155.175.106

so i'm trying to find this info in my phone.

does anything I said makes any sense?
cause i'm losing it right now, lol

I found this...

Carrier Internet Settings @ Pinstack

This found, it mentions making changes through Options -> TCP, but I do not have that option on my US Cellular 8330m.

I dont think you can configure DNS. You can only set the APN. For Tmobile it's either: wap.voicestream, internet2.voicestream.com, or I've even seen internet3.voicestream.com

Nope, I don't have that either. This may be something that only folks who have BES setup can do. I'm on BIS.

From what I could gather, there is no native way to access DNS settings. Yes, I would assume that they are there somewhere, but it may require something like QPST to get you there.

I don't have BIS and can access options/advanced/TCP. That's strange you don't have it on yours.

Nope, I don't have BES either. I don't have a data plan at the moment.
