Default Transferring media and ringtones

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
It's me again! Sorry to be such a bother, I'm still trying to catch on to the Blackberry after my Treo. I moved my pictures from my Palm desktop to the media manager in DM, I also have some ringtones in the media manager. I did a sync "thinking" that would pull them into my Blackberry but it didn't. (or if it did, I can't find them) Can anyone fill me in on the trick to this?
Thanks!

Synching doesn't involve media files (including ringtones).

Best and simplest way is to enable mass storage mode. This will let you use your microSD card like a flash drive. Just copy and paste over. No need for desktop manager or media manager which is very cumbersome for some reason.

or if you want to use the desktop manager media manager, when you get into the 4 box window.... top half is your PC, bottom half is your blackberry and media card

drag from top to bottom, or use the copy down button

Copied them over through desktop manager as suggested, I didn't realize you could do that. That worked and I got everything over.
Thanks again.

That is typically the easiest and fastest way to do it.

If the files were small enough you could always email them to yourself.
