Hi, got an 8320 Curve and ran out of battery yesterday. Plugged it on the wall, I see in the mid of screen a 3D battery icon, a big one, with a red "slash" at the middle. Left it overnight, when I woke up, i still see the batteryicon and still wouldn't start up. Removed the battery several times & returned it back and still i see the battery icon at the middle with the red slash. Used my USB charger for several hours, nothing's changed, my phone still wouldn't start. What's surprised me is that when I removed my battery and plugged the phone to a charger without the battery, the battery icon with the red slash is still there so i guess the possibility of the battery being at fault is ruled out (besides, I already tried changing the battery, sorry i failed to mention). By the way, tried soft-reboot (Alt+Right Shift+Del) in the hope it would do some good somehow as described in other blogs but didn't help either. Am about to give up & literally want to just throw my phone against the Berlin wall.

Do you have a friend that can loan you a battery for two minutes? Or stop into a store. Your first step is to try a battery that you know is good.

yes, I borrowed a full-charged battery, a working one, from an office colleague & nope the screen is the same. also tried using Apploader attempting to reload the OS. it is able to detect the device, read the contents (although at this point my phone's screen have already turned blank). You'll see the progress bar moving but to my disappointment in the end it will simply tell me unsuccessful.
