Hi,

I have the blackberry curve 8310 which simply displays jvm error 513 as some clown has entered the pword incorrectly several times.

All the examples I have seen say to load the OS using the application loader on desktop manager. I have desktop manager, but cannot find the OS files online at blackberry or AT&T (already emailed AT&T support).

Can someone confirm that I should be downloading a vendor specific OS for my device as opposed to blackberry generic? If so, where can I download the OS for an AT&T 8310 from?

You don't have to use an ATT version if you follow the directions in that thread. There's no problem or harm doing this.

You can find a list of carrier sites at blackberryfaq.com. Scroll down to the Operating System section.

Also look at the top of this forum for latest OS versions and instructions.

You can use the OS from any carrier. Just make sure you download the correct one for your model. And follow the instructions in the sticky.

Hi - I have the same JVM error 513 message - ok so I'm DL the Sprint OS system for my 8330 Blackberry - so I just DL that and I should be able load it fine using my Desktop Manager?
