Default Newb here. Question about unlocking 8330 from us cellular

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone! I am new here and very new to blackberry. I have a friend in another state who said he would give me a 8330 curve that is new in package if I could use it.

The package says US Cellular on it. I use Verizon. I have done some investigating and from what I can tell it will work. I basically know nothing though and want to make sure. I did a search and did not find much except that it will not work with T mobile.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance for your time!!!

You won't use it on Verizon, because Verizon will only allow their devices on their network.

I wish it were so, but it is not possible.

The device will not work on ATT or Tmobile, nor Sprint.

Thank you, JSanders. Guess I'll have to just give it up.

...and "unlocking" is irrelevant with CDMA devices anyway -- except for the hybrid CDMA/GSM devices like the 9530.
