Default My Blackberry usage feedback

Please Login to Remove!

I have been using Nokia E61 as my business phone for the past 3 years and am very happy with it. I wanted to try BB and got hold of 8320.
Well, what to say, i am seeing only "Uncaught Exception" message. The OS is 4.5 and i was advised to re-install the OS and even downgrade it. i did that all but the errors are still there.

Its a shame with RIM to release OS without proper testing. Nokia is far far far better.

Have you added any other applications? I can't remember what programs have caused that error but I've had that happen with a couple applications. Reinstalling those applications, not the OS, fixed them.

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Which version of OS 4.5 do you have (Options>About). There should be some numbers after the 4.5.

Maybe try upgrading to a slightly newer version?

that's bummer.. i never had any issues on my bb 8320 os 4.5
maybe it's just your bb that's defected. i got an defected bb before and had to exchange it right away. contect your seller and try exchange it to new one. maybe it's just one of your bad luck.

Yes yes just like it's a shame for Microsoft to release OS without proper testing... It's not that simple. It is likely a combination of some conditions causing this. It's impossible for anyone to test for every conceivable issue that may come up.

Is Airtel in India? Wonder if there's some extra add-ons related to that whole security being too strong to spy on issue.

Where did you get the OS file from? There's the latest released version at the top of the 8300 forum. Try using JL_Cmder to wipe the device for the install if you've already tried a couple different OS versions.
