I have the Titanium Curve - my Carrier is T-Mobile

I've had this less then 6 months and this problem started happening a few months ago but it seemed to fix itself.

When I drive to work or when I'm at work I use a headset to listen to music from my Blackberry.

Here recently when I unplug my ear phones and go to use my phone it starts clicking and the volume slider goes up and down.

I plug the ear phones back in and now that's the only way I can use the phone is if I plug th headset in and I'm able to use the phone.

Any suggestions?

I've reset the phone and updated the OS and it still happens.
