Somehow by doing the backup between my phone and computer, the phone has downloaded all of my email contacts from Outlook. It's over 1,000 addresses. Anybody know how to get rid of these addresses and still keep the contacts with phone #'s? And how would I keep t from happening again?

Don't sync the BB with Outlook.

Anytime you sync with Outlook it is going to trasfer items if you have two way sync set up. You could do a one way sync and just do a back up with DM.

OK thanks for the tip. How do I not sync with outlook? It did it automatically - maybe it's a phone setting I need to change?

Yes change the automatic sync when connected setting in Desktop Manager.

OK - can anybody tell me how to wipe out what's in my computer and re-load just the contacts?
