Default Upgrade Firmware

Hi, I just activated my BIS and it will take 24hrs to be activated. In the meantime, can I upgrade my firmware to 4.5 with the data plan ?

You don't need the data plan in order to upgrade your firmware. You can just download it to your computer, install it and it'll take you through the install process for your phone. Instructions are also stickied in this forum.
