I have a Curve 8310 that reboots (screen goes dark, red light comes on, then white screen and rotating hourglass followed by verification of security settings) during calls. The background is thus:
1. Relatively recent upgrade from v4.2 to v18.104.22.168
2. Crash happens when in presence of wireless computer network, but not in other locations (as far as I can tell)
3. This used to happen when I upgraded to a different version of v4.5, but disappeared entirely when I then downgraded to v4.2
If the only answer is to downgrade again, then I will do this reluctantly. However, I have become accustomed to the newer features and would like to make this OS work, if possible.
Has anyone found an answer to why this occurs? I see other posts that seem to indicate the same problem, but the "solutions" seem to be 'pull the battery', or 'pull the memory card', or something like that. There has got to be a glitch in the programming somewhere, but I'll be darned if I know where it is...
