Default Curve 8310 bricked? Need help

Please Login to Remove!

my 8310 will not fully power on..instead it has an image of the battery with a line through it. i've tried 3 new batteries and nothing works...it just remains stuck on that screen. i've tried to wipe it with JL_Cmdr but it won't load, so i tried the other FAQ 'what to do if JLcmdr will not connect'. i opened the command prompt, followed the commands and cannot change the directory. everytime i type the command, it says "The system cannot find the path specified" im at the point now where i want to launch my curve through a window. any help would be appreciated. TIA

This might sound strange, but leave the battery out of the device for a day. Don't give it any power at all for a day. Then try it again.

Also, did you get it wet? Is there any damage to the battery contacts?
