Hi there,
When I delete appointments on my PC Outlook calendar and then use the desktop manager to update/syncronise for some reason the actual appointment is still shown on my handheld. If I try to delete it on the handheld it says"this appointment has been deleted externally blah blah and shuts down"

This seems to happen when the appointmnet has duplicated itself during thesync process.

Is there something I can change?

I would use the dm and completely delete the calendar on the device. Then do a sync again and then do a test delete/sync and see what happen.

yep the calendar database is corrupt, clear it from the advanced option inside the backup/restore part of the desktop manager and then run the sync again, everything should then be added back to your BB device.
