If I'm just watching video (I'm going to be on a plane), how much time will I get out of a regular-sized battery? Is 2-3 hours possible? What about an extended battery?

Make sure you have the radio turned off or you will have no battery within a half hour. You should have no problem.

Lol what radio? Sorry I've only had my BB for a couple of days.

I have 2 batteries, hoping to get at least 5 hours of video out of them.

I watched two, one hour episodes with no problems on a plane. I think it only used a 1/4of the battery. Make sure you do turn off as many things as possible, turn off your "radio" service (aka your cell service) so the flight attendant can't give you crap. (Go to Manage Connections, toggle your mobile connections, bluetooth, etc. to off for the plane ride.)
