Hi everyone--

I am using the Sprint 8330 curve and having difficulty figuring out how to extend the number of rings before a call shows up as missed or defaults to voicemail.

I downloaded a song as my ringtone and it seems from the time starts to when it stops is a very short time and therefore I end up missing a lot of calls.

I have gone into Options as well as Ringtones but don't see this as an option. Is this configurable?

You need to call Sprint in order to extend the ring time. It's a carrier function. Note that 30 seconds is the limit.

Thanks... wouldn't have thought that but I will give them a call.

I would also suggest the Vibe and Ring app by Fabian. It starts the ring simultaneous with he vibration instead of 2 vibrations first then ringing.

Nah QUINN - No particular reason. Both apps are quality apps and both provide great customer service.

Cost would probably be the most significant factor. That and simplicity.
