Hello, can someone please help me. I live in Norway, and my cousin from US just sent me BB 8310 curve. Its a BB from AT&T. The phone is very good, and works fine, but there are few things that doesnt work. I cant send messages, why? Is the phone locked or something?

I can call people, but not send messages. I have tried to find out how to fix it my self, but i cant :(

Does the 8310 from AT&T have wireless? If it does, can someone please tell me how to fix it?

I hope someone can use some of their time to help me

Do you have a BlackBerry data plan from your carrier?

Well it is wireless. I'm guessing you're asking if it has WiFi. It does not.

What is a BB data plan?

So what you are saying, is that i cant connect to the internett with my 8310?

And one more thing, I have a password on the BB, and can not remove it. The function is locked. Seems like everything is locked on the BB, just calling works.

Could be an old IT Policy in place preventing some features from working: Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ
If the phone works on a carrier other than AT&T it must be unlocked. But no BlackBerry Data Plan means those features that use data, like email, web browsing, and BB Messenger, will not work.

While i was trying to change the IT policy thing, one of the links on ''Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ'' where you have to download a policy file, did not work. Have any idea where i can download that file?

Oh, okei.. Then i have another carrier.. I dont have a AT&T carrier.. And since email, web browsing, BB messenger doesnt work, then I probably dont have a data plan eather :S hehe
