My phone will randomly shut off about 3 hours into my day when it should have a full charge. I try to turn it back on but the phone does nothing like there is no power to it. No lights or anything. So next I try pulling out my battery and putting it back in. It will boot halfway and then turn off. If I try turning it on again with out pulling the battery no light or anything again. The only way to get it back on it to pull the battery then put the battery back in and boot it up. It will show up with almost full battery when its back on. It will die again in a few more hours. What could be wrong?

Try another battery; it could be that the charge indicator is faulty.

I just upgraded to 4.5.0.124 and this started. That being said, I tried a new battery today and so far so good.

I've come across this issue a lot in the past few months. A new battery has resolved the problem every time.

Are you saying that you have needed to buy a new battery every few months?

I think you have other problems if you need to do that.
