hi there..i am in canada now....my sister is jealous of my blackberry phone(8310)..im not really into blackberry because a phone to me is only to call my family in the Philippines..now she asked me to buy 1 for her....i went to usedstuff web and got a 8330.....only to find out that it is locked to telus...i was so disappointed that i wasted my money..does anyone here can help me solve this problem.....how do i fix it that i can send it to Philippines so they can use it there....i am aware that it is supposed to be unlocked but the thing is the phone that i bought doesnt have a sim card slot..i am afraid to go to TELUS which the phones network,maybe they will think i stole it...can it be fixed so a sim card slot will be installed or what?pleasseeeee help me..
There's nothing you can do. The 8330 is a CDMA device. It will not work on GSM frequencies. They are different technologies. Your best bet is to try to return it, or sell. Sorry...
