New Country, New Carrier...No New E-mail Account Showing?
I just moved to the US from Canada and I have a new blackberry curve 8330 on Verizon that is taking the place of my somewhat new curve 8320 from Rogers.
When I got the new bb and service, I set up a new @vzw.blackberry.net e-mail account.
I've got everything set up and went through the "Switch Devices" process via Desktop Manager to push my contacts and data files and such. When it was finished, my old @rogers.blackberry.net e-mail address was (and still is, much to my dismay) showing up as an account on the new Verizon curve, and the new @vzw.blackberry.net address is nowhere to be found. When I log into the Verizon BIS, I can see the e-mail account, so I know that it's set up. I have also added the PIN and MEID into the "Change Device" area to make sure that it was set correctly. Finally, I removed the battery, waited for a couple of minutes and then put it back in to force a hard reboot. No dice.
What am I missing? Suggestions?

From the Verizon BIS site, click on Service Book and then click the Send Service Books button.
For the Rogers address, that service book was copied over during the Switch Device Wizard copy. You will not receive any mail on that address. Go into Options > Advanced Options > Service Books and delete the Rogers Service Book.
When you used the Switch Devices Wizard it transferred all your old accounts. I just did this going from AT&T to Sprint and found my old AT&T email account and service books on my new Sprint 8330. Got rid of 'em right away!
