Exclamation Error Code 547 Flash Write Failed

Please Login to Remove!

First of all, i did my best to search and DIY as much as i could before bugging you guys. i got nowhere-FAST, so here goes:

Got an 8310 Red Curve. Had no probs until last night at 3am. I got woke up by it flashing on my dresser.

It's doing the lovely reboot sequence thingy. (Screen off, red indicator light solid. White screen with rotating hourglass for 10 seconds. Repeating forever until i remove battery.)

Late this afternoon i put the battery back in after it had been out for an hour or so and got the 547 error and a long list of options. didnt matter what i picked, reboot sequence always continued.

Here is what i have tried and the results where applicable.

*checked for water or moisture damage
= negative
*no physical damage occured during the evening to cause this
*hardware reset not an option
*tried to reinstall OS through blackberry desktop manager
= error message: unable to connect to device and suggests usb cable issues or allowing the phone to complete startup operations before connection
*tried to reinstall OS from official blackberry site
= hangs up on reconnecting to device after loading, installing and erasing steps
*found this forum
=became hopefull and smiled a little
*tried theJl Cmder
= does nothing after i type blackberry
=opens blank notepad for device info and event log
(yes i deleted the vendor.xml)
*tried command prompt option with loader.exe /nojvm
= app loader wizard begins and my pin shows up for a second then turns to unknown. when i click next it is the same: unable to connect to device and suggests usb cable issues or allowing the phone to complete startup operations...which is what my original problem is!!!!!!!!
i think thats all. if i didnt list it, i still may very well have tried it. anyone got any suggestions as to what else can be tried? i will be watching this thread closely, so please ask any questions that will help. im not abandoning this phone until i know for sure its a goner.

tyvm in advance,
nikki with no more greenberry

Only suggestion i have is startup Jl cmdr pull the battery keep the battery out go threw the steps in jl to wipe it and right before you hit enter after you type "blackberry" put the battery back in and as soon as the bb lights up hit enter on your keyboard and you should get jl cmdr to connect after that if it doesnt repeat and wait a couple seconds longer before pressing enter but this should work

actually do the steps i said and if it keeps going back to the beggining of jl cmdr without saying connected keep repeating the steps while it continues to load and eventually you will say "connected" then it will reset the device and then you will se "reload software 507" then reload your os

I have the new BB storm. It did not have the browser. So I downloaded desktop. Use its application to upload software on to Storm. It messed up the software on storm. Say Reload Software 507. I am stuck. No idea what to do. Please help, anyone.
