I may have done something stupid, but not so stupid that my phone doesn't work. I have a headset I use for my computer and I typically use a bluetooth device for my Blackberry Curve. Yesterday, I was on a conference call and needed to be handsfree, but didn't have my bluetooth. I grabbed the headset I use for my computer and it had the right plug, but it didn't work on the phone. It also completely screwed up my phone, even though it was plugged in for literally seconds. Now the volume fluctuates up and down and makes a clicking noise when I try to use it. I can't take or make any calls. I tried turning it off for a while and turning it back on, but nothing works. How do I reset it?

I have to say that I've had some pretty cheap cell phones in my life and this Blackberry that is supposed to be the greatest phone ever is by far the worst. I hate it! Can anyone help me fix it before I have to call T-Mobile for a new phone and a new contract that I don't want?

Try doing a battery pull or reset: ALT+(right)CAPs+DEL (press all three at the same time).

I had a THREE-HOUR online chat with someone from T-Mobile and they're sending me a new phone. I should have gone into the store. Nothing worked. I suspect I damaged it somehow by trying the wrong headset. At least T-Mobile is replacing it for free. That alone is worth the three hours.

Well glad to hear Tmobile is taking care of it.

BTW you might want to change your model on your profile from 8330 to 8320 to avoid future confusion.
