I have my Curve used since last October just with Wifi connection because I did not have activated the Data Plan. Everything was OK, Opera and BB Browser were working withoun any problems. I have the dataplan activated since last week and I can use only the BB Browser. Opera doesnt run with the carrier's dataplan... Also application like Jimm, Instango or EQO are not able to work properly (no connetion..) since I have the dataplan (dont work also with Wifi connection). When i replace the SIM with a one without a dataplan, the APPs are working (with WiFi of course). Do you have any idea what should I configure to make them work?

Is there also a way to run ActiveSync or other service which is able to connect to my company Exchange07 and push emails into the BB? I have no BES/BIS plan unfortunately...

If you do not have a bis/bes plan... I dont think that email is supported. It has to do with service books i believe based off of what plan is associated with your device.
Your carrier may be blocking certain features/compatibilities because of bandwidth... its possible. have you tried upgrading the os?

think thats it, i had the same without a BB data plan...once i sorted that out.....bobs yer mothers brother.

No BB data plan, no email. Internet is a work in progress and work around at best, as you found out.
