and I'm struggling with the Roxio Media Manager in the BB desktop software. I initially had success transferring about 8 playlists, but now it doesn't seem to recognize the device. I've got the filter set for "audio" files, and I've gone through the "help" function a couple of times. I must be missing something important. When the pc and BB are connected, the device doesn't show any music, but when disconnected, it appears. All help will be appreciated. George

Skip the Media Manager.

You do not need a program to load your card. Just use your BB Media Card like a flash drive or thumb drive. you can drag and drop or use "copy to" to move your files then just organize the files on the card just like you would any other drive.

Try re-installing the desktop manager.

But just copying/pasting as VIOLATOR mentioned is far easier/quicker.

I had so much problems with Media Manger, I totally uninstalled Desktop Manger with Media Managewr a year or so ago and have installed the version without it since. I don't miss it at all. I just move things to the phone using Internet Explorer.

Media manager is very cubersome and laggy. Another vote for keeping it simple and easy with mass storage mode.

For the input. I just used the Windows XP file mgmt system to move the files over. I also uninstalled the sync software, and reinstalled w/o Media Manager......George

I only use the Media Manager for movies, this way they are formatted correctly

Anything else goes threw Windows Explorer.

I almost wish we had an alternate media manager because even for movies, it's slow took me about 15-20 minutes to transfer one movie :(
