I had a curve 8310 Blackberry from my company for company use. I accidently dropped it and it's screen got damaged. My company got me another one same model though. My company did not take the damaged Blackberry back from me.
I am now thinking to get this damaged blackberry fixed and use it for my personal use. Can I do this legally? Do I have to get permission from my company or the service provider (Rogers)? Any suggestion/advise will be helpful.

Get permission from your company. If they allow you might need to remove the IT policy on it if it was on BES.
