Default Desktop Manager Unresponsive When Connected... - 06-30-2009, 02:49 AM

I have a fresh install of Windows XP. I installed Desktop Manager 4.7 and attempted to connect my Curve (4.5.0.110) for the first time since wiping my PC. I get what seems to be a good connection but no response from the desktop manager software. The screen goes gray and stays that way... The funny thing is that, through the grayed-out display, it says that it's actually connected to the device, and if I check the properties of the Blackberry Device Manager, it indicates that it has a good connection. Here's what it looks like...

Any thoughts?

Try a repair.

May also want to try 4.5 or 4.6 of the desktop manager.

Disable an Antivirus software during the installation as well.

For the first time I feel the future might hold something different for me. It's possible I'm fooling myself but I'm willing to take the risk.

Well, you were right, SteveO86! I removed DM 4.7 and installed 4.6 and it works like a charm! Thanks so much for your help.
