Default trackball selects without being pressed - 07-03-2009, 09:36 AM

I see many posts about the trackball not selecting, only moving one direction, etc. My problem is the trackball selects as soon as I move it. It might scroll through one or two messages but then it selects without being pressed. Same thing in phone menu, etc. Is this a symptom of a dirty trackball? Thanks.

You may also have a bad trackball.
They are inexpensive and easy to replace.
When I had my curve and 8830 i replaced them frequently.
you can go to Cellular Accessories - 3G, HTC, Alcatel, Mobiado, Accessories Store, BenQ-Siemens, Motorola, Acer, Sams to get replacements and instructions.
