Default Curve - and bluetooth

Please Login to Remove!

I have a curve 8300 with v4.5.0.131

I have a Blue Ant Q1 V8.12

They pair fine....but I have to go to the application menu and tell it to everytime.

If my bluetooth is on - shouldn't it just find it. Is there a setting somewhere. I looked at a friends phone whose pairs automatically and turns on, but we couldn't find a setting anywhere.

Is the Bluetooth setting for the headset set as a TRUSTED device?

stupid question , bu where is this setting...on the phone where the blue tooth is. It has paired devices and it lists the blue ant.

Everytime I click on the application blue tooth, I do get the pge that says add device - search for devices from here or allow another device to find me.

On the BlackBerry, go to the Bluetooth settings icon (or to Manage Connections). And highlight the BlueAnt in the list of paired devices, press Menu, select Device Properties, next to Trusted, be sure it is set to "Yes", save your changes.
