Well, you might be limited by which carrier you are with. Some carriers only got certain models. I am with Sprint and they carry the 8330 Curve and I love it. I really wanted the newer Curve 8900 but they decided not to carry it. However, T-Mobile I believe has the Curve 8900 which is a nice upgrade in terms of phone memory, it has wifi and a larger screen. Good luck
as far as i know, the only curve that was updated to 3g is the 8330 available to cdma carriers bell, telus (in canada) and verizon and sprint in the US.
I have the 8330 and it's fantastic phone with and updated design (compared to the rest of the lineup), but keep in mind the operating system and the appearance of the phone's software is pretty much uniform throughout the entire blackberry lineup aside from a few cosmetic brushups

Telus and Bell both carry CDMA 3g Blackberry 8330's
The 8320 I believe Rogers now carries. I got an 8320 last year from a friend at RIM, unlocked and everything... but I'm more than happy with it. I find the Wi-Fi useful too.
