Unwanted Network/RIM messages

Hello all. I'm a new user; purchased my 8330C a few weeks ago; intially had trouble syncing to my Outlook, but finally got it to work. However, I still get a large amout of messages from "network@etp11o2.etp.na.blackberry.net" with RIM_bcaetc.etc.etc. as the subject. They come in after every entry or email. Being new to it all, I didn' realize I wasn't suppposed to get them, but finally ran in to another user and they said I had probably set it up wrong. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is because you installed BlackBerry Desktop Software using the Redirector option.

Uninstall BlackBerry Desktop from your PC.
Delete all of the [Desktop] service books from your BlackBerry. (Options > Advanced Options > Service Book)
Reinstall BlackBerry Desktop using the BIS option. (not the Redirector option)

Thanks, but...

Thank you. That fixed it. Unfortunately my Calender doesn't sync to my desktop Microsoft Outlook now. It was working before the above fix so surely it's something simple.

I went to my desktop BB Desktop Manager, clicked on Configuration and tried the Default settings - doesn't work (I don't think anything Synchronized). I tried the "Configure Synchronization and did all four of the choices - it appears my address, task, and notepad Sync's, but not my Calender.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Is your calendar still set to sync with Outlook?

I "think" so.

I opened the BB Desktop Manager and went through the Synchronization Configuration Wizard, doing each one and "finished". I noticed on my device that when I open the Calender and look at "options" that the only Calendar is the Device Default. It seems like I remember looking at that before and I had an Outlook Calender (?) Thanks.
