I hooked my 8300 to my laptop via USB, and connected to the internet. Worked fine, but my throughput was only 115.2kbps. Is this a limit of EDGE? I did a search and found some reference to ATT needing tethering support added to my dataplan, however I didn't need anything extra, I just followed the steps in the tethering FAQ and it worked. Other than the slow throughput, it's great.
