Okay, I've got SEVEN apps that I want to delete, but they are not listed in the "applications" section of the "advanced options" on the blackberry NOR are they listed under the applications when I connect the blackberry to my desktop manager. How in heaven's name can I get rid of them??? I hate clutter and just "hiding" them is like sweeping dirt under a rug - it doesn't really get rid of the problem.

What are the apps? I think there are so that get pushed to your device so there's really no way to delete them. Have you done a battery pull to see if anything changes?

by any chance are they service books links that have been pushed to your device by your carrier. For some reason Verizon likes to push out flickr, aol, and now slacker service books everytime I do a battery pull to my Storm, I just end up deleting them from the Advance Options - Service books area and they're gone.

Just a thought

You can delete the Service Books for carrier apps but if you re-register the device or re-push service books they will return.
