Default Also, two mailboxes but have the same messages?

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone tell me why I have two mailboxes on my device that contain the EXACT same messages and how to make it so that I have only one? Again, it's a "clutter issue" for me. One mailbox is called "Messages" and the other one is named for my personal e-mail account.

Many thanks in advance!

Hide one of the icons.

I hid the specific email icon and only have the "Messages" icon displayed.

You will always have the icons Messages on the phone, but when you set up a specific email address, it creates a new icon for it, so you end up with the messages for that email address showing in two places. I also "hide" my specific email icon for my gmail account and just have the Messages icon show on my desktop. You'll also get an icon for your blackberry email account which you can also hide.

They don't unless you've never received an SMS, MMS, PIN. Messages also stores call logs (if turned on), saved browser pages, saved browser requests and several other items I can't think of off the top of my head. The icon for your email account won't contain any of these.

As stated above, hide one or the other if it bothers you.
