When I use BlackBerry Messenger my status appears next to my display name in conversations. None of my friends status's appear next to their display name. How do I keep my status from showing up next to the display name in conversations (I only want it in the contact info and next to the display name under the contacts list)? Sorry if this is confusing. Thanks for any help!

Open BBM, click menu key and "edit my info". You can change it there.

I don't see any way to change it there. Can you explain? I want to keep my status from showing up next to my display name DURING CONVERSATIONS.
