Default What is the purpose of the crackutility?

What does the crackutility do? I was foolin around with it. And removed a few programs, then phone shut off. So im gonna wait til i get some responses til i mess with it again so i dont brick the curve.


Can you jailbreak a BB?

a bb can be unlocked

what teh app does is clear up memory nothing more, nothing less

You have a CDMA Curve. This is not an iPhone and you cannot unlock CDMA devices since they do not have SIM cards.

Alright Alright, makes sense to me. But I'm not necessarily talkin bout unlocking it.

Some phones won't allow you to install 3rd party apps, such as the Samsung Instinct. Everytime you would install something it didn't agree with it'd give you an error msg. How does this apply to the bb curve? Or does it apply at all?
