Default My 8330 won't power on and the red light blinks twice quickly.

I updated my desktop software. While syncing my phone I received an error code. I unplugged and attempted to power on the 8330. It will not power on and the indicator light flashed red twice repeatedly. I have tried to delete the desktop software but I receive an error code and it will not delete.

I am running Vista OS on my notebook. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a power or charging problem.

I have an 8310 that is doing the same thing. I was using loader.exe /nojvm to fix it from being nuked (it was constantly rebooting/hourglass). But I also received an error message during the process. Now it will not power on, the red light is blinking twice repeatedly. I would try to wipe and start over buy my computer does not recognize the device (I don't even get an "UNKNOWN PIN" and the "next" button is greyed out). I tried it on two computers. And I tried using two different batteries. Any advice would be greatly apprreciated. I was sure that there is some other application out there that will restore the BB. Thanks.

Its not a charging or battery problem. I am sure its a nuked problem. I had my blackberry working fine. Then i updated it and it went like the above. Dead. I had a one to one exchange the next day since it was my day 1 of having the phone..
The phone is Nuked. I think you have to use JL_cmder to "clean" your phone then attempt to reload the BB OS back to the phone.

I also tried to use JL_cmder, but it doesn't work. The problem is the blackberry is not recognized by the computer, I can't get the USB to say "Unknown" or the pin of the blackberry. No matter how I plug it in (with or without battery) it still does not detect. And JL_cmder always returns an error saying it cannot open the port. Surely there is something else I can try to fix the USB connection? Anyone?

Try rebooting the PC. I had this issue the other day with one I was trying to downgrade (with an 8330).
