I used to be able to plug in headphones to my BB to hear the music playing... now when I plug them in, the music is playing out through my speaker.
How can I turn off the speaker and get the music to play again through my headphones?

BTW, I have checked and even when the volume is all the way down on my speaker, it still plays outloud. I have even muted the speaker, and it still plays out through the speaker.

This made seem silly. I have had your issue when I did not push the plug already in.

I have the same problem when i m using the stock earpiece that came with my blackberry. But, when i used it with my ipod, it worked flawlessly. and when i used my sennhiesser earphones on the blackberry, it worked flawlessly. I think theres a problem with the earpiece and the blackberry. Mention very wierd.
