Default Activation MEID or ESN

Please Login to Remove!

Just received a new BB Curve 8330 via Fedex. Trying to activate onthe computer. It wants to know what's the device ESN or MEID. This device has both an ESN and a MEID, which one do I use or does it matter ?

Then why at the top of this forum page before downloading an OS does it ask you to select either ESN device or MEID device ? Which device do I have ?

Do you have an 8330 or an 8330m? That's where it matters.

Because for an OS upgrade, you must decide which device you have.

Look at options > status... which do you have?

And if you have an MEID number... then you know.

Well,
I guess it's an 8330m because I took a chance and submitted my MEID number to them a few minutes ago and the phone is working.
