Default OS Update Error

Please Login to Remove!

So my friend has the same blackberry as me, an 8310 from AT&T but she had an old OS. I backed up her phone before I started the OS update but then during the backup of the OS update it said there was a fatal error. The LED on her phone is consistently blinking twice and not booting up/turning on. I tried to hook her phone back up to restore the backup I made but the DM is not recognizing her phone (her PIN is not being populated). When I go to Backup and Restore it doesn't give me the option to restore the backup I had. Can I do anything to solve this on my own or do I need to bring it into AT&T?

Kevin,

Reboot both the PC and the phone, make sure the USB cable is plugged into a rear USB port, not a USB hub and then follow these steps:

It may take a few attempts before the device is recognized, just be patient.
