Default Odd bug with my GPS/Maps...anyone seen this?

Please Login to Remove!

In order to get GPS to work in Google Maps and BB Maps, I have to go into the advanced settings, turn GPS location off, save it, exit out, then go back and turn it on again. Once I do that, GPS runs fine. But as soon as I close Google Maps or BB Maps, GPS won't work with them again until I repeat the process of turning GPS off and back on again. It's rather annoying. Any experience/ideas on this one?

I'm using an 8330, OS v4.5.0.127, latest versions of Google Maps and BB Maps, provider is nTelos.

Are you sure you are properly exiting GPS applications by clicking the menu button and clicking Exit? If you just use the back button then sometimes the app can be left running using GPS resources.

Nope but, IIRC, GPS is a bit different on the CDMA Curves. I've never had such a problem -- regardless of whether I hit Escape/Back to leave a GPS app or if I actually close it.

Yes, I typically stop GPS navigation and use the menu button to close the programs when I'm done.
