Default Call and Text Firewall

Please Login to Remove!

I am using the Blackberry 8330 on Verizon. I have recently been receiving texts and phone calls from someone who I do not even want to have the option of texting me or leaving me voicemails. Of course Verizon does not have the call and text manager available for my phone which would make this a non issue but Verizon of course is lacking in customer service as usual. I need an application to filter these calls and texts. Does anyone know if one exists?

Within your myverizon acct accessed from a PC, there is a location where you can place texts to block. If you are charged for SMS, then placing the firewall only blocks but doesnt prevent you from being assessed a charge each time

I'd rather have it at the carrier level as I wouldn't want these to count against my packages.

Google Voice is also an option though I don't think it will deflect SMS for you.

Wirelessly posted (Tmo's cheapest BB customer)

Google voice has an option to mark a number as spam (future do not call). Don't think that works with SMS. But then again its free so its not counting against you.
