Default New BB holder, need some help from you guru's.

Please Login to Remove!

I tried to search, but was overwhelmed with the amount of info jammed in here. I'll give some specifics before I ask my questions so that you may better help me.

I have a 8310 Curve.
Carrier is AT&T.
Company account through my employer.

Here are my questions. I see there is a logo at the top of my phone labled "GPS". I know what GPS is, but I'm hearing rumors that my employer can use this phone to track where I am??? Is this true??

2nd. There is an application: "Get AT&T Navigation". Did any of you do this, and if so was it expensive, and what are your thoughts on it?

Thank you for helping me, and please try not to beat me up, this is my first experience with a BB.

No, not unless you have an application on the device which will track you. If it is their corporate account and device, they do have every right to do so.

ATT Navigator is GPS navigation software, from TeleNav. It is top notch software, the best there is. It costs $10/month.

I really like Telenav (I don't use the at&t rebranded version though). Check out the GPS forum if you want to look into alternative GPS apps for your BB.
