Default Everymorning Curve Looses Network COnnection

Please Login to Remove!

Every morning when I turn my curve on it doesn't connect to the network, or the network is switched to off. I have to always keep turning the network connection on and off until it finally connects to the EVDO network. Sometimes it will only connect to 1x and maybe 1X if I am lucky but it gets to be really annoying.

I did a full software update and restore. Still experiencing the problem intermittently.

ANy suggestions would be great!

1X (capital) is fine as well. You have a data connection at that point.

Why are you turning the device off? Are you using the Auto On/Off feature?

If you leave the device on overnight, do you still experience the same issue?

Verizon is the OP's carrier according to their profile.

Verizon is the carrier. I am using the auto-on/off. Same thing happens if I leave the phone on all night. Also although 1X is data, it is not EVDO.

I had to dial ##000000

if I dailed ##0000 I got MSL password must contain 6 numbers.

Also I don't see SIP ID#

I see SIP User ID:##########@vzw3g.com, where it is my phone number in place of ###########.

SHould I just change that field to vzw?

No, the way it is set currently should be correct.

Hi. I have an 8330 Curve from Verizon. I'm having the same exact problem as BigOrange. I use the auto off/on every night and all of the sudden I am having no connection every morning (after working fine for the past 6 months). My SIP User ID is set up the same way as Big Orange's (my phone number@ vzw3g. com). Anyone know how to fix this issue? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I had a user with the same issue as well. He stopped using the auto on/off feature and it cleared the issue up.
